A group of about 60 employees from Park’N Fly, a company specializing in parking and shuttle services at Dorval Airport, as well as employees from Termico Resources, a company specializing in the extraction and processing of natural resources, have recently joined the ranks of Teamsters Local 931.
These employees, determined to obtain better working conditions and strengthen their collective power, have chosen to become members of Local 931, marking a significant turning point in their professional journey. Members of these groups have expressed great determination to improve their daily work life, seeking fairer conditions and strong representation to defend their rights. This decision reflects their confidence in the Teamsters’ ability to support them and conduct effective negotiations.
“I want to welcome these groups and assure these workers that they will be well represented,” said Pierre-André Blanchard, President of Local 931. “We are committed to standing by their side throughout this first collective agreement negotiation, ensuring they obtain the working conditions they deserve.”
The arrival of these new members strengthens Local 931 and highlights the importance of worker solidarity. The Teamsters are now preparing to start negotiations for the first collective agreements, a crucial step in establishing solid and fair foundations for all new members.
